The aims of the meeting are:

  • To raise awareness of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) within Northern Ireland.
  • To update the audience on ADHD and associated sleep problems.
  • To update the audience about transition within the ADHD service.
  • To update the audience around DSM 5 and its practical implications.
  • To educate the audience further on comorbidities existing with ADHD.

The agenda for the day is as follows:

09.30 – 09.45              Introduction and welcome.

09.45 – 10.45              Presentation: The magic and wonder of sleep.

10.45 – 11.00              Tea/coffee.

11.00 – 12.00              Presentation: ADHD and transition.

12.00 – 13.00              Presentation: DSM 5: Changes in ADHD.

13.00 – 13.45              Lunch.

13.45 – 15.00              Presentation: ADHD and comorbidities; optimising treatment case studies.

15.00 – 15.30              Closing remarks.
